Kid’s drawings are precious things. With crayons, pencils, or markers children make marks upon paper. The picture may be hard to decipher at times, but to a parent or grandparent that doesn’t matter. What matters is that a child made a mark–a mark most parents and grandparents see as special. So special, that some of those drawings are saved away somewhere. Years later, when those kid drawings are seen again, you remember. You remember the child who left a mark on your heart. As God’s child, what marks have you left lately that touch His heart?
Some marks that should be left in 2015
The marks of tears shed over lost souls, and of a Gospel seeds planted in their hearts.
Psalms 126:6 “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”
The mark of being known as a Christian.
Romans 1:8 “First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.”
The mark of God’s peace in your Heart.
Philippians 4:6-7 “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
There are many marks we can leave with our lives. Leave good ones.†
